Claws
Sitting in my room, writing a poem about people and how they interact.
I wonder do I have the power to change the way people think.
Is it possible to become larger than life? Fame is nothing I wish to gain.
Knowlegde of everything will greatly suffice.
Sitting in my room, listening to songs from dead artists and their expressions.
I wonder if anyone has tried to count to infinity? How far did they count before getting tired?
Is it possible to have a negative infinite number? “I’m not a math teacher,” is your reply.
You run, you run, you run, you run, you run, you run, you tremble.
It’s no longer fun, the sun has gone down, you’ve lost your gamble.
Wagering if you could become bigger than the world.
You try, you try, you try, you try, you try, you try, you fail
with each attempt you effortlessly manage to call forth bad hints.
Reading between lines that intersect the cracks in grey tints.
You love, you love, you love, you love, you love, you love.
What you’ve become, seeing the unknown
as if you’ve never understood the sound of clarity.
Inevitable
Johnny is the one with salvation
look to the sky boy, your hope wont last.
The ocean is crying, the world wont let you go.
Look at the stones boy, they’ve lived longer they know
why the trees change during the fall.
Leave it up to the wind, can you hear it calling?
Invisible and silent, you can’t feel the chill?
Earth is still moving, yet you’re standing still.
Johnny is the one with hope
look down at the ground boy, what do you see?
Fireworks
They light up the sky, everyone sees beauty, they are amazed.
For this one day, for this one time, no one experiences hate.
We are free, liberated to perform our own actions, to think freely.
Only for this day will everything be mutual, nothing more tranquil.
No longer illuminated with the aesthetics they had once possessed,
Tumbling back to Earth, the fireworks may now lay to rest.
Amber tells you she’s having your baby.
You tell her that you do not care.
Amber’s all alone, no one can save her.
The baby is born and you aren’t there.
Dancing In The Dark
We were dancing, dancing in the dark.
All the world is sleep, but the city is still awake.
We were dancing with the electric silence at the park.
The world cannot judge, eventhough they hate the snakes.
We were dancing, in the abyss, the city still turning.
Write on the mirror with your lipstick, how happy you are.
I know the world has been mean, but you still have to keep learning.
The world cannot judge, because, we’re still counting the stars.
We are dancing, we are dancing, in the streets.
Your company is all I need
and the street lights illuminate our path.
Spinning out of control and laughing in the night,
falling to the ground such a soft crash.
We were moving, slowly, like the leaves in the shade.
Sitting on a bench and feeling the cold wind,
we cuddle so our warmth will stay.
The sun rises and then we begin to fade.
We were dancing, dancing in the dark.
Take It Slow
Backstory:
sometimes I feel as life is moving too fast, and sometimes we just need to slow down.
Take It Slow
Let’s take our times, and just slow down for a minute.
We’ve been moving too fast.
For a second let’s pause time to look at everything we’ve done.
Reminisce about the the past.
A little anxious by the future, because no telling what can happen.
That’s why I want to take it slow.
Everything can change tomorrow, nothing will be like it use to.
Everyone could go.
The kids wish to grow older, so they can participate in more activities.
They have no clue what the adults know.
The adults wish to cease their aging, so they can remain youthful.
They have no idea what life could bestow.
Slow and steady wins the race,
But in life you always have to move at a much faster pace.
Be tedious, time won’t pass you by.
If you don’t move fast enough you know that you will DIE!
I think we need to take it slow.
Because life is way too precious, to let wither away.

Bringer Of The Trees
We walk in the empty spaces of our mind which we try to recover.
Days never take long to pass, but imagination leads us to believe life is worth living.
Wind whispers to the inhabitants of the world “be peaceful, be calm, beloved.“
Turgid words slice through like the knife that divides reality from validity.
Beautiful Earth
When the sun rains, the clowns frown.
When the birds sing, the angels cry.
When the jungle breathes, the rain comes down.
The lion is hungry, so the zebras learn to fly.
We will kill the the world and we will continue to smile. The world will stop turning, and we wont care. We will keep living, not knowing what we’ve done here. The Earth is our muse, so lets continue our abuse.
When the glaciers glow, the penguins swim away.
When the oil runs dry what will we do?
When the polar bears think, the seals rather play.
The cost of living will go up, right? Isn’t that true?
Earth isn’t a garden so don’t be a hoe.
Earth isn’t a slut, so don’t f#%k it.
Earth isn’t a green light so don’t go,
Stay right here and watch what you’re doing so others will know.
Once we kill Earth where will we go?
This an old poem that I wrote for English class. The format is different from the other stuff I wrote and I guess that’s why I like it. It was originally a song, but I broke it down and left out the repeating chorus.
